SMS Terms — Fieldman Alerts

What the program is

Fieldman Alerts are operational text messages sent by Fieldman Inc. to employees of companies that use the Fieldman software. Today they cover maintenance alerts: a text when a vehicle or piece of equipment is reported for maintenance, so the people responsible can schedule the repair. Texts are never promotional.

Who receives texts

Only employees who have opted in by signing the Fieldman SMS Consent Form and giving their mobile number. Opting in is not a condition of employment or of using the software; the same alerts are available by email or in the app.

How often

Message frequency varies with how often equipment is reported for maintenance, typically a few messages per week.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Fieldman does not charge for these texts.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to any Fieldman text to stop all texts. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
Reply START to opt back in.

Example message

Fieldman: NEW maintenance item — IC-706 (HIGH): brake light out, reported by Peter. Open the app for details. Reply STOP to opt out.
